Frederick (alias Freddie) was born and raised in the Show-Me State, moving at a young age from the Ozarks to St. Joseph, in the Kansas City area (Go Chiefs!). He is currently a student at Yale College pursuing a major in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics, with a strong interest in medicinal chemistry. In the Spiegel Lab, he works to apply synthetic organic chemistry to understand the mechanism of autoimmune disease and also works on creating bifunctional molecules. He enjoys being with his family, playing the piano, and reading novels and history books.
