Born in Bloomington, Indiana, and raised in South Florida, Victor is currently a PhD student in Chemistry at Yale University. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University (FSU), where he majored in biochemistry. During his time at FSU, Victor conducted research in Professor Joel Smith's lab, focusing on small-molecule alkaloid synthesis and method development. His work in an organic chemistry lab sparked a lasting interest in small molecules and drug discovery, motivating him to pursue research at the interface of synthetic chemistry and therapeutic development.

At Yale, Victor works in the Spiegel Lab, where his research focuses on developing small-molecule ligands for bifunctional molecules that modulate disease-relevant biological targets. He is passionate about translating fundamental chemistry into innovative approaches for drug development. In his free time, Victor enjoys spending time with his friends, cooking, and playing soccer.
