Autoantibodies play a critical role in the pathological process of numerous diseases. And approximately 30 people per 100,000 are affected by one of these three conditions. Most treatments for autoimmune diseases target symptoms (e.g., corticosteroids, antimetabolites) and lead to immunosuppression. Thus, we aim to develop bifunctional molecules to remove specific autoantibodies leaving the healthy antibody repertoire intact.
